I’m crossing another item off of my list of 101 things to do in 1001 days (click here to see the list)! It’s been a while since I posted a blog entry just to talk about an item being crossed off, and I’ve been waiting to do this one for a few weeks.

Before our one year anniversary, it was my goal to have a wedding album with our photos finished — and some great professional prints to decorate our new house (what? did I just say new house?? oh, stay tuned!). So, in perfect timing — the finished album arrived one day before we celebrated one year. :)

The album I designed is very similar to the albums I design for my wedding clients. It’s a flush-mount, leather-bound album (see the details below) with a collage-style design. The page designs are very simple with clean lines, but it helps tell the story of your day as it happened with large panoramic photographs and smaller inset photos to highlight the details. I love how it turned out.

I chose to have our album done in all black and white, partially because I loved how our images (taken by La Brisa Photography) looked in black and white and because it’s so classic. I’m a fan of classic. :)
Here’s to crossing another item off the list!
Good for you- you are about 5 1/2 years up on me for this one! :)
Wow I really like how the book looks! Did you do that through pictage? I love the layout and the design of the pages.
