Fourth of July weekend was more than just a celebration for our country’s freedom — it was a celebration of the bond between Laura and Nathan! I was really looking forward to this wedding, in a town near my hometown. I had never officially met Laura or Nathan before their wedding day, but we had so many mutual friends that I knew they had to be awesome people — I was right.

Laura couldn’t have looked more beautiful in her dress, which was handmade just for her by her former high school English teacher (how awesome is that?). She was absolutely stunning.

The ladies were so fun in the bridal room getting ready for the big day. It’s always great to see the bond between friends, as they share inside jokes and offer last-minute advice.

The bridesmaids wanted to be funny and pick up Nathan…and it was funny, to say the least!

Their reception was really summery and elegant — I loved the balloon centerpieces and the barbeque-themed menu!

Nathan and Laura, thank you for choosing ericamay photography to capture your special day! The entire album will be available here. Friends and family, pre-register to be notified when all of the photos are online!
