I am so blessed to have such an amazing line-up of 2009 clients. I love that in a few short years, I’ve been able to be a part of so many special wedding days, experience so many emotions right along with my couples, and make some really great friends along the way. I am seriously grateful to the people who took a chance on me when I was first starting out a few years ago. And I am completely joyful that I continue to meet the best people all the time through this business.
So, I want to give a huge thank-you to my clients so far, and those brides and grooms in the ericamay line-up for 2009! You are so awesome!
That being said, we’re pretty much all booked for 2009 wedding dates. I will only be accepting one or two more weddings this fall. If you’re planning a fall (August – October) wedding and you haven’t yet contacted me — don’t wait! Those last few spots are filling up very quickly.
Don’t get me wrong, I love weddings. I wish I could take on every request that comes my way. I have a very hard time turning down wedding photography opportunities, but I also want to maintain a nice balance of work so all of my clients have personalized, creative attention.
I have some good news for you, though! I have several photographer friends who still have a few limited — but great! — wedding dates open on their calendars, throughout the summer AND fall seasons. So, if you’re stumped and need an awesome recommendation, shoot me an e-mail (me @ ericamay . com) and I will send you some fantastic people to contact! :) If a date is booked on the calendar on my website, shoot me an e-mail anyway so I can connect you with another talented photographer. Sound good?
Also, we’ve already begun booking dates for 2010! I know it seems like quite a long time in the future right now, but you don’t want to wait to book your vendors (including churches, reception venues, photographers, dresses!). We’ll be rolling out 2010 wedding packages soon, so if you already have most of of the details figured out, contact me now and take advantage of the 2009 rates!
Because a post isn’t as fun without a photo, here’s a shot from Tara and Tom‘s wedding that I almost didn’t keep, but now I love it. It’s just has a certain mood about it that I love!
